Central apartment, brand new, and perfect for up to 10 guests!! A short stroll from "Las Ramblas" and all the best tourist attractions. At the mouth of the street is the new "Rambla del Raval" - a wide Mediterranean avenue, lined with palm trees. This brand new apartment is on the second floor of a listed building (a famous Catalan Artist painted the façade) with lift/elevator. The entrance hall is very ample and there is a lift, despite being in the old town - few buildings here have lifts. The apartment itself enjoys a lot of natural sunlight throughout the day, due to the fact that there are no neighbours behind, and there are large windows and a balcony. The apartment is also AIR-CONDITIONED. .
The
apartment has 100 m² and is fully furnished with everything we think you
will need for a comfortable stay here in our city. Through experience working
with our other apartments, Aurora 1, 3 and 4 we are sure you will find everything
you need. The apartment has a brand new kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine,
oven, 4 gas rings, a microwave, and all brand new cooking utensils and crockery.
There is a dining area, with a beautiful brand new extendable table, and enough
chairs for everyone to sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal. There are two bedrooms.
The first with a double bed, large wardrobe, a small pull-out bed (if necessary),
and balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds that can also be joined perfectly
to make a double bed, a long mirrored wardrobe and large window, an iron and ironing
board.
The large living room has two double sofa beds, and two single
sofa beds, too, with plenty of room to sleep 6 people comfortably. Fresh sheets
and towels are, of course, provided. There is a colour television set in the living
room. The bathroom has a toilet, sink with a large vanity mirror, and a HYDROMASSAGE
BATHTUB for the ultimate relaxing experience after a hard day shopping or sightseeing!!
There are four metro lines serving the apartment, (LICEU, DRASSANES,
PARAL.LEL [L3] and SAN ANTONIO [L2]) all of which are a short 5 minute stroll
from the apartment and metro maps with other tourist information will be waiting
for you in the apartment. As an Englishman living here, I have prepared a "Welcome
Pack" with useful local information, recommended restaurants, bars, pubs
and clubs, and tons of other information you won't find in any guidebooks!! Discount
Parking in the same street can be offered, and any local tourist information,
reservation calls (restaurants, theatre, discothèques etc.) can be made
by us (English and Spanish spoken). |

Barcelona's
PORT AND MARINA are only 10 minutes walk from the apartment. So whether you want
to imagine which of the yachts you'd buy when you win the lottery, walk THROUGH
Europe's largest fish tank in the AQUARIUM for a true "Jaws"-style experience,
take in a 3-D cinematic experience in the IMAX, or check out the exclusive shops,
bars and restaurants in MAREMAGNUM, you know you only have a sunshine stroll back
to the apartment to relax before you do it all again the next day!!
Along
the way to the Port, you'll pass the MARITIME MUSEUM, the landmark of "Las
Ramblas" - the COLUMBUS MONUMENT - and if you decide to venture further,
there are various stops of the TOURIST BUS along the way- a great way to see all
the sights in the city in a short stay. In the other direction, moving back up
"Las Ramblas" allow yourself to be surprised and captivated by the GOTHIC
quarter, so called because it is said that in the middle ages the devil had a
habit of strolling through the old streets of the city. Even today, you are able
to revive the magic of the old town, with the PLACA REAL (royal square), PLACA
PALAU (palace square) and CATHEDRAL, at a stones throw from each other. All of
these routes can be enjoyed without haste from the Aurora 2 apartment.
