Sardenya
is a brand new apartment close to the Arc de Triomf in the centre
of Barcelona, and sleeps up to 6 people. This first floor apartment,
with elevator, has two bedrooms, a brand new, fully equipped
kitchen, a long, ample living room with balcony, and a bathroom.
The apartment has been finished with modern styles - all wooden
floors, modern lighting, central heating - but also is characteristic
of the Eixample buildings of Barcelona - high ceilings, and
a balcony to the front facade.
The kitchen is completely new, with fridge/freezer, washing
machine, gas hob/cooker top, electric oven, toaster, kettle,
blender, teapot, and all the crockery and cutlery to cook for
the capacity of 6 people.
The living room has the exterior balcony to the strret, T.V.
music system with C.D. and a double sofa bed (1m60 wide). The
apartment has two bedrooms, the first with a double bed, cupbaords
and a balcony to welcome the sunshine. The second bedroom has
two individual beds, forming a high-low "L" shape.
Finally the bathroom, with a bath with shower, toilet, sink
and mirror. |

The
Sardenya apartment is very central, in "Eixample derecho"
area of the city. Just 5 minutes from the apartment is the "Arc
de Triomf", where you will also find the nearest metro
stop - just one stop on the metro will take you to "Placa
Catalunya" - the city's main square. The Bus station "Estacion
del Norte" is also right next to the Arc de Triomf, with
several bus stops to visit the city sights.
The neighbourhood has many supermarkets, cafés, restaurants,
banks, and the "Mercado de Santa Catarina" - a large
fresh produce food market.
Gaudi's "Sagrada Familia" is on the SAME street as
the apartment, just about 8 blocks north. Also close to the
apartment is the "Monumental" Bullfighting riong,
and museum. The National Theatre of Catalunya is also a 5 minute
walk from the apartment. South of the apartment, is "Cuitadella
Parc" - named the garden of the city, with the city Zoo,
fountains, and botanical gardens. From here, the street takes
you down to the "Villa Olympica" or the "Olympic
Village", which in turn, marks the beginning of the beach
area. All of this is just a 15 - 20 minute walk from the apartment!!.
