Poeta
Cabanyes is a newly reformed apartment, which can sleep up to 5 guests. This fourth
floor apartment (no elevator) has the traditional styles of an old Catalan apartment,
such as the mosaic tiled floors, and the visible wooden beams in the kitchen,
but is coupled with new fittings - plumbing, gas, electricity, etc. As the apartment
is high up, it receives a lot of sunlight during the day, too. The apartment has
a twin room, which can also be used as a double room, a single bedroom, and also
two single sofa beds in the living room, giving the capacity to sleep 5 people
comfortably. There is a walk-in wardrobe, with enough room to hang all of the
clothes for each person, and also a chest of drawers and shelves to accommodate
clothes and suitcases. Internet connection can also be arranged for any business
travelers.
The kitchen has a washing machine, refrigerator, 4 gas rings
to prepare food, and plenty of cupboard space. Next to the main bedroom is a ding
area, with a wooden table and chairs, and a bookshelf. Leading on from this room
is the living room, with a brand new sofa bed, big TV and a music system. This
area can be closed off during the evening, if someone wants to sleep here privately.
The bathroom is at the back of the apartment with a new toilet, shower and sink.

The
apartment is located in Calle Poeta Cabanyes, a street with little traffic, which
turns off Avenida Paralello. The metro "Paral.lel" is a short 5-minute
walk from the apartment, which can take you to various points of the city. Alternatively,
walking from here, you can arrive to Las Ramblas in about 10 minutes. Moving south,
again, about a ten-minute walk, will take you to the Port, and the Aquarium, the
Maremagnum complex, and various seafood restaurants, bars, cafes and discos. The
apartment is also very close the "Montjuic" one of the city's mountains,
with it's botanical gardens, the old castle, the cable cars, the Miro Museum and
of course, the Olympic Staduim, the Olympic diving pools and the open-air Greek
Theatre.
There are many local shops and bakeries within the area, as
well as banks and cashpoints, and other local shops. Avenida Parallo also is home
to some famous theatres, and a variety of restaurants from Japanese cuisine to
traditional Spanish cooking, too..
