| IThe apartment is at the main street Psg. De Colom; this is the side street at the end of La Rambla. Walking from Plaza de Catalunya all the way down to the Old Port of Barcelona, La Rambla is one of the world's most famous promenades. While descending it, you will encounter all the activities that make this promenade so special: good restaurants, bars, pubs, the most impressive artists, street theater and off course the little market boots selling flowers and birds.
A side the Rambla you will find the Gothic Quarter with The Picasso Museum, The Parc Ciutadella and the Big Cathedral. But before reaching those you have to find your way through all the little charming streets and squares of the gothic area. Each street with it's own specific character and awkward shops.
Of course there are also sufficient accommodations for those who rather spend there time eating in a typical Spanish restaurant or have a good laugh in one of the many bars. The neighbourhood Borne, famous for its nightlife is within very short distance.

The apartment is situated at 500 meters from the beach and very close to the Rambla. The nearest metro station is at 600 meters. |
