of the mountain of Montserrat, which rises majestically to 1235
meters. Then visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which holds
the famous Virgen Moreneta, the 'Black Virgin'. The Basilica
has been one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Spain
for hundreds of years. On some days the children's' choir sings
in the monastery at midday, and so you might also be fortunate
enough to catch one of their delightful performances. On your
way back to Barcelona you'll make a stop at the harbor, where
those passengers wishing to do so may visit the Aquarium on
their own. There is also a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops
and cinemas in the area, so you may even like to stay on for
a drink or some dinner. The bus will take the rest of the passengers
back to the original departure point.
